Sure, your agent will do the majority of the work to find your dream home for you and will make it as easy and enjoyable for you as possible, but there are some things you as a buyer can do.

  1. Once you made the decision to look for a new home consult your bank or mortgage lender to see for how much  you can qualify and how much you can afford.
  2. Make a written list of all the criteria your dream home should have.
  3. Determine which areas you would like to live in and spend some time in each area. Could you imagine  yourself living here?

Now you are ready to go look at houses. Through the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) I have access to all listings and not only to my own. With the criteria on your list and the area you would like to be in ,I can find all the listed properties that meet your requirements.
